"Let's talk about bowling!" - Practicing Dynamic On Topic Conversations

Description: I am trying a new kind of Boom Card using flow magic, so that you can work on conversations in a dynamic way, so I am starting the price low to see if there is interest. If there is interest, I can create conversations with different topics. Do your students have difficulty initiating and maintaining a dynamic reciprocal conversation? This is another deck for my series on conversational drivers. This deck is different from my other decks I have created thus far. It works on having a reciprocal conversation with peers in a dynamic fashion. DIRECTIONS: The direction card is at the end of this Boom Card deck since I had difficulty putting it at the beginning, but the directions are also listed below. Some of my students are able (with supports) to answer basic WH- questions, but have difficulty coming up with questions other than WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, WHY, and HOW. They also have difficulty varying their comments based on what their conversation partner has said. I created this Boom Card as a trial of a basic conversation about fishing to start to practice those skills. In purple, you will see a comment about bowling and then possible follow up questions. Select one and follow the prompts through the conversation. Have fun! If there is interest, I will create more on other topics.
