Description
This deck allows students to practice beginning sound recognition. Students can practice that skill by identifying which mouth picture reflects their own as they repeat beginning sounds. This deck allows practice with partner consonant sounds - voiced/ unvoiced. After instruction cards, students there are two sorting cards. Students find the beginning sounds of the object pictured and move the objects that start with tip tappers to the basket. This activity works on articulation and sound awareness. It is a great accompaniment to the Lindamood-Bell LiPS program - however, these pictures are not those used in that popular program.
