Description: I Am Thankful is an open ended resource that you can use to model/elicit the concept of gratitude with your students. This interactive activity is chalk full of visuals to help your students identify and express things that they are grateful for. It can also be used to practice making choices, turn taking skills, labeling categories, labeling items in a category, formulating sentences, and modeling core vocabulary. This activity is perfect for mixed groups given its endless possibilities. Student selects a category and identifies an item or items that he/she is thankful for. Student drags the item/items into the box. Model/elicit the target sentence. Hit the back button to return to the home screen. Repeat.
