Emotions - Valentine's Day Version

Description: Look at the heart's face! How is it feeling? How do you know? This Valentine's Day themed deck is great for working on pragmatic language. Specifically, I use this to elicit "feeling" language (e.g. "He is feeling sad.") for my younger kiddos. A structured activity can be helpful for targeting language with students with ASD or students who have difficulty with social communication. To add a further challenge, have students describe a situation that might have led to this emotion, or read two situations and have them choose which one likely led to the emotion shown (e.g. "They got a new puppy!" "Would that make you feel excited or sad?")
