Description: Your students will love sliding the flaps to look for Mr. Frost’s carrot nose! This book targets winter vocabulary, MLU, yes/no questions, and more! It has two interactive elements to keep your students engaged! (slide-able flaps & moveable picture symbols). Self checking comprehension questions are included at the end of the story. There is an interactive build a snowman card at the end too. Read the book to the student. At the top of each page, the student is asked to look to see if Mr. Frost’s nose is under or behind the objects around the park (they will slide the object over to reveal what is behind it). They will then answer yes/no by selecting yes or no (the buttons are self-checking). Encourage them to verbalize if they are able. The student then will match the picture symbol to the box in the sentence strip (by dragging the correct symbol) and if they are able, verbalize the phrase (“He found a _____”). This is self-checking too. At the end of the book, the student put the carrot nose back on Mr. Frost’s face and build a snowman. After that, there are comprehension questions that are tap-able and self checking. Please note: This is the premium version that goes with the published board book, there is another version but it doesn't include the illustrations from the book or the comprehension quesitons at the end.
