Description: These 28 cards provide beginning readers with practice spelling words with digraphs sh, ch, and th. The first slide reviews the digraphs. All of the slides have an audio option for the digraphs to remind them of the sound. In this deck, students will look at the picture or click the audio button to hear the word. Then, they will drag the letters to spell the word. These are set up like "sound boxes" where each box represents one sound (not necessarily just one letter). The first slide is a quick review of each digraph's sound. Important note: Since I use a systematic approach to teaching phonics, this deck only uses words with short vowels. There are also no consonant blends in this deck. To complete this deck, students should be able to read CVC words and should be introduced to digraphs sh, th, and ch. The digraph CK will be introduced in another deck.
