Description: This deck contains a series of action cards for earlier learners including a combination of drawings and photos for generalization purposes. It is an expressive activity. Actions include: Walking, running, hugging, sleeping, throwing, catching, reading, swimming, eating, and drinking. This activity is an expressive goal, which can be worked on in 1:1 or group settings, such as for choral responding. This allows flexibility in the expected response, which can range include "Drive," "Driving," "Boy is driving," or even, "The boy is driving a car." You will find a mishmash of photos, icons, and cartoons for generalization purposes.   Take every opportunity while working on this together to practice and/or pretend to do the actions and expose your learner to language! Have your learner echo your word or phrase, or simply expand on what you see in the photo.   Have fun! -Liz
