Description: Give your students lots of practice listening for the beginning consonant sounds with this set of 40 Boom™ Cards. The children will hear the name of the letter, its consonant sound, and the names of the three foods shown. Their work is to decide which food begins with that sound and drag it into the lunch box. Complete directions are given on the first card. The rest of the cards have the names and sound of the letter as well as the name of the food choices. Twenty cards are presented to the students in random order in a session. You can change that number in your library.
