Description: This deck is perfect for March and a St. Patrick's Day theme for math! We are learning all about subtraction in two different ways. The first ten cards have students move the X to cross off the cupcakes that the leprechaun "ate". Students then type the answer to the subtraction problem. The last ten cards have students practice finding "how many more". Candy jar visuals along with a number line are shown for students to practice finding the difference between the two numbers. They are asked, "How many more candies does the leprechaun have?" I encourage students to find the difference between the numbers using the number line. Audio is included on every card so students can be completely independent.
