ABC order, without alphabet

Description: 12 tasks cards. Students have to sort the words into alphabetical order, left to right. All the words are illustrated. One card has US coins on it - as the words are provided and students don't actually have to identify the coins, this should not cause any difficulty for non-US based students. However, I do have another deck that is less "American" (no US coins, and replaces US sports with sports commonly found in the UK: football instead of soccer, rugby instead of American football for example.) Look for it in my store. There is NO alphabet provided on this deck. I have another deck that does have the alphabet on each card, for students who still need that support. Buy them as a bundle! Students can choose to start at level 1 or level 2. Level 1 is five cards, each with 5 words. Students only have to look at the first letter of each word. After completing level 1, students move on to level 2. Level 2 is also five cards with five words, and students have to look at the second letter of each word in order to be able to sort the words correctly. After level 2, there are two optional final challenge questions where students have to look at the first 3 letters of each word, and then the first 5 letters.
