Description: This deck targets five categories of animals (i.e., farm, ocean, pets, zoo, forest) to improve both receptive and expressive vocabulary. Each card has three animals hidden in a themed picture scene (with four cards per category). Cue the child to drag items in the scenes to find the three animals. Then, cue the child to say the name of the animal aloud to improve expressive vocabulary. This deck can also be used as a receptive identification or following directions activity. For best results, this deck should be completed with an SLP or caregiver to cue the child and monitor for accuracy.
