Factoring Quadratics Mystery Picture

Description: How does this deck work? Students will work through this deck of Boom Cards by factoring the quadratic trinomials on each slide. Only one of the factors will be an answer choice covering the mystery picture. Students will then “drag” this factor from the choices provided into the answer space, revealing a section of the mystery picture. Each card will reveal another section of the picture. Once all 12 task cards are completed, the entire picture will be revealed! The Mystery Picture consists of two idioms by one of my favorite clipart artists, Ron Leishman. Students can have fun guessing the idioms these images represent! Answers are included in the deck. If you wish to make the “guess the idiom” a class activity or competition, you can opt those cards out of the ones you assign to your students.
