Description: Children love "drag & drop" activities that include feeding animals! This simple, animated deck allows you to start a child working on single words and move them to sentences within the same activity! It can be used for sequencing consonant/vowel shapes in single words and/or production of 2-3 word sentences (action + object or subject + action + object), Words included are: bear, puppy (or dog), bunny, eat, pear, banana (nana), and apple. Example phrases made up of these words include: "eat banana (nana)", "eat pear", "bear eat pear," "bunny eat pear," "puppy eat apple," etc. There are also ample opportunities to work on voicing errors with phonemes /p/ and /b/. There are 14 slides with 10 targets per slide...140 potential trials! Depending on the child's abilities and interest level, it might be a good idea to start with just a few slides at first and build up from there. I have tried this deck myself and so far it's a hit with both kids and parents!
