Description
This set is a great way to learn about and review historical figures that are studied in Texas. Stephen F. Austin, José Antonio Navarro, George Washington, and Christopher Columbus are included. This set also covers the Pledge to the Texas Flag. There is a "learn" section and a "play" section. This is perfect for a kindergarten, first grade, or second grade social studies unit on historical figures. This set also includes sound files where the students click on the sound button to have the words read to them. This is perfect for your non-readers or low readers. There are 25 slides in all. There are 11 learn slides, and 13 play slides. Kids will read (or listen to) the learn slides and then answer questions about what they learned about these people!
