Description: Practice making 10 to add with this arctic themed deck. There is no language so that these cards can be used in any immersion classroom. There are a total of 30 cards with 4 sets of practice. This deck is randomized. Set 1- Students move the narwhals from the second 10-frame to complete the first 10-frame of orcas. They complete the addition of 10 and fill in the sum. Set 2- The orcas and penguins are lined up to model the addition that makes 10. Students must select the correct addition with 10 and drag and drop into the box to complete the balanced equation. Set 3- The arctic fox shows the first number in the equation, and students drag and drop the penguins into the first 10-frame, then continue to drag and drop them into the second 10-frame to make 10 to add. Students fill in the blank to complete the addition with 10 as well as the sums for both equations. Set 4- Students drag and drop penguins into the 10-frame with polar bears to make 10. They fill in the blanks to complete the vertical equations.
