Description: On this cute deck, students determine whether the sentence is a statement (declarative) or a command (imperative). There is an audio feature for students who need assistance reading the sentences. It automatically plays on the first three slides to provide scaffolding for the activity but then is an option on the rest of the slides to encourage independent reading. Students can click the paint pallet and I will read the sentence. ***The sentences are designed to go with Journeys Lesson 12 story: "How Leopard Got His Spots", but could be easily used for any lesson. Great for whole group or independent practice as well as distance learning.
