Description
This deck relates to listening, reading and finding second grade sight words or common grade 2 high frequency words. Each card shows bunny rabbits displaying sight words. Listen to each word and then find and tap/click the correct one. Next, the player should type the word in the fill-in-the-blank box. Press the ‘Submit’ button to give your answer. If the correct word is found and typed, you will hear a bell sound and the deck will advance to the next card. If an incorrect word is selected and incorrectly typed, you will hear a whoops sound and you can try again until the deck advances to the next card. The cards are randomized – each time you play the deck the cards will be in a different order. 46 words: always, around, because, been, before, best, both, buy, call, cold, does, don’t, fast, first, five, found, gave, goes, green, its, made, many, off, or, pull, read, right, sing, sit, sleep, tell, their, these, those, upon, us, use, very, wash, which, why, wish, work, If you do not want your students to play all the cards, there is a function in BOOM where you can hide cards you do not want your students to play. When you purchase a deck: 1. Go to your library and find the deck you bought. 2. Click on Action and you will see a dropdown menu. 3. Scroll down to Hide Cards. 4. When you click on a card it will turn gray/grey, meaning it is hidden from your students. Benefits: • Practice listening to and reading sight words • Helps with fluency reading
