Learning about categories and how things go together are important foundation skills for language and learning. The following Boom™ Cards provide students a chance to sort objects into picture scenes/rooms and show that they know which objects belong. Students are presented with the 12 objects and a room in the drop zone. Student drop & drop the items they think might belong in the room. Some will be left over (that don’t belong). Students hit submit when they think they have found all the items. If they have found all the items that belong in the room it will circle with green. If they don’t have enough items or the wrong items the drop zone will circle with red. Students can then try again to find the right items.
