Description: This deck was created for students who are working on identifying high-frequency words. Audio support is provided. The students will listen to the word and then drag the word to a pile of acorns. The deck focuses on high-frequency (sight words) 151 - 175. Student directions are on Slide 1. The Deck: - Each slide has a background with trees, a squirrel, and an acorn pile. The three acorns with the high-frequency words (sight words) are draggable. - The squirrel wants help with the acorns. The children will drag the acorn with the word stated into the acorn pile. - The acorn they choose will disappear into the acorn pile. - The students will click "Submit."
