Description: Getting to grips with calendars and how they work. There are 48 question slides in this deck, where each poses a question from one of 6 different calendars each displaying a single month view. Study the calendar on each slide and answer the question below. The deck is randomised and this is a self-guided exercise. The student advances to the next slide when the current one has been answered correctly. This tests the student's ability to scan through the details on the calendar, looking for relevant information, like the number of days between events, the number of weekends without a scheduled event, how many times a certain event happens, etc. Questions are either multiple choice, numeric or text-based. Text-based questions are looking for something obvious, like the name of the day of the week or month, where various inputs are anticipated and accepted (things like fri, friday, jan, january, Jan, JAN, JANUARY would all work, for example). Answers are also case-insensitive.
