This deck was created for primary students who are beginning to identify high-frequency words (sight words) to improve their reading fluency and reading comprehension. Audio support and tab navigation are provided. The Deck: - Recorded directions for your students are on slide 1. - Each slide has a background with a pumpkin patch, scarecrow, and cart. - There are three pumpkins. Each has a different high-frequency word (sight word). - A high-frequency word (sight word) will be stated. - Your students will drag and drop the pumpkin with the word stated into the cart. - The pumpkin will disappear into the cart. - Your students will click on the green "Submit" button. - They will proceed to the next slide if the answer is correct. RF.K.3c Read common high-frequency words by sight (e.g., the, of, to, you, she, my, is, are, do, does). now and apply grade-level phonics and word analysis skills in decoding words.
