Description: How long can you keep the conversation going without getting "off track" (off topic)? In this activity, group members will add a train car each time they take a conversational turn by making a comment, asking a question, or answering a question to keep the conversation going! This cooperative activity is designed for social skills groups or pragmatic language groups. You can target a variety of skills (maintaining the topic, asking questions, answering questions, taking conversational turns, etc). It includes visuals to help students stay on topic.
