Description
This deck is created for practicing sound or phoneme deletion in words, one of the advanced phonemic awareness skills. It is one of the many skills that activate the phonological processing system. The ability to manipulate phonemes is critical for students to develop efficient sight vocabulary which will help them become strong decoders and readers. To use this deck, they will need to discriminate and identify the word with the correct sounds which heightens their auditory awareness to the phonemes and sounds.
