Description: This who am I style game can be used as a listening and inference exercise, at language centers, as homework or even as an evaluation of listening comprehension. Players will listen to 26 vibrant cards with clues to 6 characters' identities and will be given hints to help uncover the mystery characters one at a time. Assessing reading comprehension is always difficult because we expect students to answer in writing or orally, neither of which we want to target. A text-only version of this game is available and is ideal for assessment because neither a written nor oral response is expected. Comprehension is assessed in isolation. There is also a version of the game has both text and audio on each page, ideal for supporting ESL and EFL students as well as emergent readers. All 3 games are available as a bundle, allowing for differentiation within a class.
