Description
This deck of cards relates to rhyming CVC words in simple sentences. Learners use the pictures to help them drag the correct missing rhyming word into the blank space to complete each sentence. When ‘Next’ is clicked, they will get instant feedback. If the answer is correct, a green circle will appear, and the deck will advance onto the next card. If the answer is incorrect, a red circle will appear and the player can try another word. The benefits of this game are: • Students practice rhyming CVC words by using the pictures • Increase vocabulary by reading simple sentences • Have fun and learn at the same time. Learning objectives: To be able to rhyme words, to use picture clues to read simple sentences; to use phonological awareness to sound out CVC words and blend to read.
