Description: This set of the 46 2nd grade sight word identification cards is part of the 2nd Grade Survey Level Assessment designed to identify the skills your student has before writing the Present Levels of Performance for an IEP. Having this knowledge will help with goal writing and progress monitoring. Using a digital platform for data tracking makes these necessary tasks simpler and less time-consuming and allows for easy access to scores. Cards will not be randomized so that if you choose to only focus on the first 10 words (for example), you will be able to progress monitor those 10 words only. Please note: this is not an independent student activity. An adult (special education teacher, paraprofessional, parent) will choose check (correct) or cross-out (incorrect) as the student reads each word. If the child says the word correctly on the first try, click the + sign. If the child says the word incorrectly click the - sign and then click the plus sign to move on.
