Description
Estimate to the underlined digit. Students fill in the beginning box with the same value of that place (or of the whole number to that place) and ending boxes with one digit more (or of the whole number to one more of that place). (For example, for 7,254 rounding to the hundreds place, they would type either 200 or 7,200 in the first box then either 300 or 7,300 in the last box.) They move the marker (X) on the number line to indicate which is the determining digit, then they type in the answer in the bottom box. Students must type the comma into the answers.
