Description

In this interactive speech and language activity, students follow the builder through a construction site while targeting core vocabulary, sentence formulation, and early WH-questions. Students will: • Tell the builder, “Go, Builder!” • Find each construction truck in the scene • Use AAC/sentence strips to say, “I see a truck.” • Drag the truck and tell it, “Go, truck!” • Repeat structured sentences with embedded visual and audio supports This repetitive, movement-based format builds engagement while supporting: • Core vocabulary (go, see, I) • Sentence expansion / MLU • Receptive and expressive identification • WH-questions • Following directions • Basic concepts and verbs Perfect for early language learners, AAC users, mixed groups, teletherapy, and in-person speech sessions. As with all of my activities, visuals, AAC supports, and audio are embedded to promote independence and success.
