Description
Your students will have lots of fun learning their 3D Shapes with this boom deck! This deck features FOUR different types of activities that will help students identify and name 3D shapes! The following 3D shapes are featured: cubes, spheres, cones, cylinders, rectangular prisms, pyramids, triangular prisms. The first 7 cards feature pictures of real life objects (e.g. ice cream cone, can etc). Students must select the picture which matches the shape name given (audio is included). The next 3 slides feature empty boxes (shaped like cubes, cones etc). Students must drag and drop the real life objects into the matching boxes. The next 3 slides feature a selection of real life objects. Students must drag and drop the shape names to match each object. Finally, the last 7 slides feature plain shapes (not real life objects) in different sizes and orientations. Students must read/listen to the direction (e.g. 'click on the cubes') and click on all the shapes they can find that match the direction given. This boom deck aligns with the following TWO standards! CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.K.G.A.1 Describe objects in the environment using names of shapes. CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.K.G.A.2 Correctly name shapes regardless of their orientations or overall size.
