Description: This is a beginning sound/letter match activity utilizing a Valentine's set of 26 words/pictures. There is a Valentine word for each letter of the alphabet. The student is presented with a picture of the targeted noun and must select the corresponding beginning sound from a group of 3. There is also a speaker with the spoken word in case the image is unknown. All letters are presented in lower case. When the correct letter is chosen, the screen automatically flips to the next card. The visuals are bright and fun. This activity could be used as an individual or group lesson as well as a fun transition or exit ticket. Happy Valentine's Day!
