Description
This Phonics activity targets spelling and word-building skills using word families. First letters and word families are combined (ONSET-RIME) to make the CVC words. All word families used in this activity contain short vowel sounds. Product details - 21 cards - Each card contains a short instruction, 3 pictures with their first sounds, and 3 word family tiles. There is also space to drag the letter tiles into place next to the picture and first sound. - The cards are grouped by vowel sound (i.e. the first 5 cards have /a/, the next have /e/ etc.) How to play - Name the picture - Sound it out - Drag the correct word family tile next to the first sound, in order to complete the word. - Click submit to check your work! This pack is ideal for for supporting learning in Phonics lessons, morning work, or as homework.
