This Conjunction lesson focuses on Sentence building by showing how one Uses conjunctions to combine words when multiple agents are utilized. Students practice combining sentences and creating complex sentences by guided prompts. Have your students expand their syntax and sentence structure by learning how to combine simpler sentences with multiple agents using words / phrases like ( as long as, ever since, neither..nor, until, because, so that.., ever since…). For instance, “Sara and Janet wouldn’t go to the party unless they had a costume.”. I teach this skill slowly to ensure mastery.The resource targets Use of conjunctions through 150 fill-in prompts and 60 open-ended ones. It supports and encourages expressive Sentence development.
