This will target the receptive language skills of not only spatial relationships, but also listening for details, understanding Where & How questions, and opposites. The following concepts are addressed: top/bottom, in front/behind, over/under, left/right, near/far, together/separate-apart, above/below, inside/outside, away/close, middle/edge, between, beside, through, corner. For expressive language and further understanding of the spatial concepts and opposites, students state the spatial concept word within a sentence along with present tense 3rd person verbs: bounds, lopes, darts, trots, crawls, climbs, creeps, slithers, wades, gallops, sneaks, strolls, glides, lumbers, slinks, waddles, scoots, scampers, saunters, sprints, stomps, trudges, hides.
