Description: This deck of 100 slides offers number sense activities that are perfect to help first and second grade students gain awareness of the numbers 0-1000. This deck makes it easy to differentiate, as tasks begin with a very easy, GIF-supported level and increases slowly. Ideal as consolidation and revision activities for Math Centres or individual tasks. All tasks use signs for equals, greater than and less than when comparing either numbers, equations, sets of base ten blocks, counting fingers, beads, bundles of sticks, and a mixture of all. All slides have 2 or 3 tasks, so this is a huge deck, offering many options. Although tasks involve students dragging or clicking signs, (=, <, >) the thinking involves knowledge and recognition of base ten blocks, finger counts, bundles of ten and numbers etc. This is a flow magic deck, so teachers and/or students choose which activities they will attempt.
