Description: This interactive no-prep interactive activity targets expressive and receptive object functions using Back to School items. Students are presented with the WH question "what can you do with ___?" Students are given visual sentence starters (e.g. we can ___ ) and asked to drag and drop the correct action to fill the sentence to form sentences such as "I read a book." The activity contains the following Back to School objects: - Backpack - Pencil - Glue - Clock - Book - Cup - Apple - Tissues - Bus - Notebook - Lunchbox - Scissors - Crayon - Chair - Soap - Ruler Some of the goals can be targeted: - Expanding Utterances & Increasing MLU - Answering WH questions - Object Functions - Describing (e.g. size, shape, color, function, category, etc.)
