Description: The Key Idea behind this game is that students practice using the commutative property with beginning multiplication facts in a variety of ways. The game has different types of slides that give different types of problems all using the commutative property. This deck starts out with slides that give an array and asks students to write two different number sentences for the array. Then the game shifts and students will then do a variety of problems using the commutative property that include missing factors and missing products. This game compliments Engage New York's 3rd Grade Module 3, but it can be used with any students beginning to learn the commutative property in multiplication. Standards addressed in this game: CCSS: 3.OA.A.1 and CCSS: 3.OA.A.4
