One thing that many students have difficulty determining is if someone else is just being mean to them or if someone is bullying them. Students will read the real-world situation and decide if the child is being bullied or not. Each of the 20 situations are things that could happen in the real world and that kids of many ages could easily relate to. This deck is perfect for social emotional learning lessons, for students in special education who may have difficulty processing social situations or feelings, and for students in speech therapy who may need help identifying feelings in certain situations. Bullying situations are ones that happen over an extended time and are things that make the bullied person feel bad about themselves. If someone calls another person a name one time or stops when asked, it typically is not considered bullying.
