Description: Work on phonological awareness and word knowledge by identifying if two words start with the same sounds or different sounds. Design: There are 30 different cards, and each game will be ten cards randomly chosen at length. To Use: Have the student name the two pictures and then click on the "same" button if the two pictures start with the same sound. Click on the "different" button if the two pictures start with the same sound. If your student is not able to name the picture or has difficulty pronouncing the words, there are sound clips that your student can click and hear the words.
