Description
A fun game to get kids drawing and using paper and pencil! Go through and pick 2 animals from the cards, then draw them "mixed together" to make a "new" type of animal (Ie. a zebra and a snake could look like the body of a snake with a zebra head OR a snake that has black and white strips like zebra...you decide!). A great way to talk about shapes and details of a design. Great for visual motor skills and visual perception. Also can add in handwriting by having kids name the new animal, writing a fun fact about it and even extend into habitat, diet, ect. Each card also has a fun fact about the animal which many of my kids have enjoyed! Get creative! Note: Not age or grade specific! Level 1 has more common animals and Level 2 has more unique and detailed animals and has worked well with some of my older kids!
