Description: It’s time for the annual toy drive at school! The player who collects the most toys wins! This activity is an open ended game that can be used by itself to develop/practice turn taking skills or in conjunction with your own resources as a simple reinforcement activity. This resource offers 4 variations of the layout enabling students to play multiple times with varied outcomes. Students of ALL ages love the surprise element of this game yet it is SIMPLE enough to use with your early learners. Take turns picking a present and see if you can be the player who collects the most toys for the school toy drive. Player 1 says their speech targets and picks a present to see if there is a toy in it. If there is, they drag and drop it to the box labeled Player 1 and their turn ends. If there isn’t, it is Player 2’s turn. Player 2 says their speech targets and picks a present to see if there is a toy in it. If there is, Player 2 drags and drops it to the box labeled Player 2 and their turn ends. If there isn’t, it is Player 1’s turn. Presents can be discarded by swiping them off the left or right side of the page. Play continues until all the presents are gone. Player who collects the most toys wins! Want to play again?
