Description: This is an activity made for people who stutter to learn about the speech mechanism and how to use our speech mechanism. It can also be used with other communication disorders where you'd like to show/teach a client about the speech mechanism. This interactive activity allows the student to talk about the different speech parts, label a body by putting speech parts in the correct location, define each mechanism, and then practice saying sentences in different ways in order to bring awareness to each mechanism/learn to have more control (tense vs. easy, bumpy vs. smooth, loud vs. soft).
