Description: Need a self-correcting activity to reinforce choosing between “was” and “were”. This resource consists of 20 self-correcting cards. For each card, the student will have a sentence to read with a blank space. The student then has an option of choosing “was” or “were’ to complete the sentence. The student will hear a “ding” for a correct response and an “oops” for an incorrect response. The card will not move on until the correct response is given.
