The activity contains complex cartoon images of hallways and rooms inside of a haunted house, each one with 5 hidden links. Three of the links in each room send the student to a page with articulation target words. Each of the target words is unique, with visual supports that include a combination of emojis, drawings, and real photos. Each target word page has 4 words and asks the student to practice them, but this can be adapted based on individual needs for targetting at the word, phrase, or sentence level. One of the five links in the room gives a hint on how to open one of the locks on the door. To escape and win the game, find the lock and key clues in each room of the house. When the player matches all keys to their correct locks, the deck will access winner pages with a reward of animated images.
