Description: An Audio Deck to support students as they learn and practice using a silent e while spelling long i sounds. This deck has 35 cards that were inspired by UFLI lesson 55. Students will listen to the audio of a word with either a long or short i sound. Students must select if they hear the long or short i sound. Then, they will type the letters for each sound in each box. If students are stuck, they can listen to the "helper" sound, which breaks the word into phonemes. This deck was created for older students practicing phonics patterns.
