Description
Vocabulary Challenge presents 24 Boom Cards with a twist! Students are asked a question about a vocabulary word in bold and are given four choices to see if they understand the meaning of the word. They simply click on the button in front of the best meaning of the word. Each Boom Card is illustrated with a whimsical cartoon to keep students engaged. What a FUN way to enrich vocabulary and help prepare for standardized tests. All of the words were selected from a list of seventh and eighth- grade vocabulary words published by the Word Up Project and used with permission. The list was built from an analysis of difficult words that appear in basal readers and were analyzed to see how often they appeared on state tests.
