Practice spelling cvc words. Students segment the picture word in the square that the baby reindeer sees. Then they need to drag a letter to each sound box to spell the word. This activity develops phonemic awareness and phonics combined. All 5 short vowel sounds are included and the 75 cards are randomized so it's a new game each time the students play. There are 10 cards played at a time to keep practice short and sweet. There is a speaker icon to have the word and sentence for students that need language help or are confused by a word. They just have to click on the speaker. The picture helps students that have difficulty remembering the word as they segment or with memory issues. The entire alphabet is included on each card to help students that don't know all the letters. They can say the abc's to find the correct letter. The sound boxes help with understanding beginning, middle, and end of words. It will also help develop spelling of cvc words. Check out the preview.
