Description
This is a 35-card scavenger hunt that can will teach students interesting facts about bats. In this hunt, students will learn how their coloring helps protect them from predators, how they keep warm, how crested penguins are different from other penguins, and more. To complete the hunt, students are presented with 17 multiple-choice questions. Then they read information that will help them answer the questions. If they choose the correct answer, they are directed to the next question. If their answer is incorrect, they can reread the text to find the correct answer. The final card in the hunt requires students to write 3 interesting things they learned in the hunt. It can be used as a winter activity, as a supplement to a study of birds, to enhance the understanding of a story, or practice for reading informational text.
