Description
This deck relates to matching colors and favorite colors. There are 13 colors in total: red, blue, green, orange, brown, yellow, purple, pink, gray/grey, white, black, gold and the color silver is an option in the color palette in the second activity. Each crayon is labeled with their color. In this deck of 16 cards students complete several activities: 1. Match the correct color picture to the crayon shown. As they reveal each square, the mystery picture is uncovered. Once the picture is revealed, students are praised for their hard work. The cards are self-correcting. If the color picture is matched correctly to the crayon, a bell sound is heard, and the deck will automatically advance to the next card. If an incorrect picture is matched to the crayon, a whoops sound is heard, and the player can select again. 2. The second part relates to favorite colors. Students learn about the two characters’ favorite colors. On the last card students type in their favorite color. They choose a color from the color palette and type it in the space shown. Then they can drag their favorite color to the blank space. Click and Submit to end game. Learning objectives: To able to match colors, reading color words, recognize colors, to choose their favorite color by typing it and dragging the correct color button. The 12 pictures are: snowman, rose, seal, grapes, pumpkin, pig, chocolate cookie, turtle, bird, cheese, cauldron and coin. UK version available
