Description: This interactive no-prep activity contains a variety of winter clothing items to help students build a variety of expressive and receptive language skills in an engaging way! Students are able to answer WH questions, label clothing items, and increase MLU with the core word WANT! The activity contains the following: - Visual sentence strips to help students increase MLU - A variety of winter clothing items (e.g. sweater, jacket, hat, scarf, gloves, ear muffs, mittens, snow pants, socks & ice skates) Some of the following IEP goals can be targeted during this activity: - Expanding Utterances and Increasing MLU - Core Word WANT - Pragmatics (e.g. requesting) - WH Questions (e.g. other WH questions- what do you wear on your hands to keep them warm, where do you wear a hat, etc.) - Identifying and Labeling Clothing Items - Body parts (e.g. can ask students to identify body parts on themselves)
