Description: Card 1 gives instructions, and card 2 is a magic portal that takes the student to a menu of fantasy houses. The menu links to 25 different doors, each one with five multiple choice options for a question. Each prompt gives a sentence and asks the student to choose what their emotional reaction would be: sad, mad, excited, embarassed, or confused. This activity is flexible; some students may benefit from expansion of each scenario and discussing possible solutions to the problem. The visual supports for answer choices include emojis and real photos. When the door is clicked, the student is shown the interior of the house and a character receiving a food delivery. The trophy button on the menu takes the player to the winner page, which shows an animation and tells the student Great Job. The food items are all desserts so that this deck can be played all-year round.
